The Guest Services folks were very helpful and pleasant-- informative, since we had not been to AM Dine-In before. I had to changed our seats when we got inside, and it just required a quick trip back to Guest Services. The server was friendly and efficient. The quinoa burger on brioche was excellent. The royal burger was tasty as well. The fries were nice and hot! We got napkins, but no forks (odd), so are our fries with our fingers (not so odd). We got our meal before the movie, and could have ordered dessert with the touch of a button! The movie, Blade runner was as expected. The theater sound system was super, and the seating was very comfortable and spacious. Sounds like a Tuesday tradition in the making, using the senior citizen discount!
Love this place... Food, drinks, and tickets are a very fair price. Seats are comfortable, plenty of room, and service at your seat.. how cool is that.. and the seats are "Reserved". Love this place...
I love going to this theater. Wish the seats reclined but still very comfortable! Dinner is delicious. Cocktails are a bit pricey but they don't skimp on the alcohol. Definitely better prices for the tall drafts available.
AMC Dine-In is a mixed bag. It's unique in that it serves inside the theater viewing area. It is a smaller theater and due to the fold out tables, there are significantly fewer seats available in each theater than a normal theater that doesn't serve food. Before it was purchased by AMC, this theater was known as Ovation. The menu was much larger and the food was cheaper. AMC had made the menu smaller and are charging $15 for chicken tenders and $8 for a milkshake. The Royal Burger, however, is a pretty good deal. It's a 6 oz gourmet style burger made with bacon, brie, arugula and fig jam. It's a delicious burger and comes with a side order of fries, and at $12.99, it's comparable to what you would pay at a typical franchise restaurant. If you wanted to have a meal and watch a movie, this is a decent option. Ticket prices are reasonable, but it could get expensive if you have to order food for multiple people. On the flip side, I think a more traditional theater like Commonwealth 20 offers a larger screen and more comfortable seats.
When this place was ovation I gave it 4 stars. Now it has become ridiculous I've come here 3 times under the AMC label and each time has been worse. First I had to wait to sit down cause they weren't done cleaning, which I know is not a big deal but it added to my horrible night. Then the waiter walks by me and my daughter "TWICE" before he asks if we want anything and I was the first in the theater. Then after taking the order brings the food before the drinks. Then Brings me the wrong drinks again TWICE. And almost forgot to charge me. I felt like walking out but I do need to set a good example for my daughter. Honestly the only reason I stayed is because my daughter didn't notice cause she enjoyed the movie so much. At this point I wouldn't recommend this establishment to any one.
