I truly don't understand what these ladies are talking about? I have had nothing but positive experiences from South River! The staff always is friendly and extremely helpful. I always leave there with a complete understanding of what I'm purchasing is the right thing for me. I also get prescriptions there as well ! The Pharmacists and lab techs are so knowledgeable and is always there with an answer to a question. This is not a CVS kind of Pharmacy, every prescription has to be made and is made specifically for the patient. So if you need your medicine you shouldn't wait till the last minute because it needs to be made for you. I have never had an issue and will continue to use South River for all my needs!!! Thanks, South River Compounding Pharmacy!!

Those suffering from autoimmune diseases beware. I paid a fortune. Initial Consultation given by Baylor Rice is expensive. Recommended dosages of multiple products are triple what described on bottle. I used all recommended products at high dosages as instructed. Four days in I became extremely sick. Baylor Rice was unavailable. I lived on ginger ale and saltine crackers for months. I have been to my GP twice and two specialists since. This was 9 months ago.

I went to this pharmacy today to get a prescription compounded. The woman working at the pharmacy counter was rude and unhelpful. I ended up taking the prescription to Buford pharmacy and they were great. No problems. I would recommend going to Buford Road pharmacy. I would walk to a 7-11 before I would go to South River for so much as an aspirin!

I use the South Side Location for my dog's medicine. They do a great job and typically have it prepared within 24 hours. The capsules are a little bigger than the pharmacy we used in another state, but we have figured out how to get them in a banana so that he will eat it without spitting it out. (he is a small dog). We tried another pharmacy after moving here and my dog started vomiting everyday so obviously their med wasn't working, but once we switched here he has been doing well again.

If there was a possibility to rate South River Pharmacy, I would with all respect give this pharmacy MINUS 5! It won't let you post it unless you rate at least one star! I have called in for the refill of the medication for my 4 year old son. The first time the doctor called in and medication was ready in 2 hours and they wanted to make sure U had it before they closed. Second time, I called in for refill. When I was calling to check on the status of that refill the only explanation I would receive was: "we need 24-48 hours and that the Lab is backed up". When 48 was approaching (as we really needed the medication) and I called to check again the person was rude. I asked to transfer the prescription to Westburry Pharmacy and I was told my son's medication will be ready for pick up that day. I decided to give the pharmacy another chance. Yet HERE we go again but even much worse. I called in for refill on Wednesday, Nov 23, 2016. I called ahead of time to make sure it is ready on time this time. Yer, I called on Saturday to see if I can come pick it up and I was told "It is NOT ready." Then I was told by Mr. Mike (very rude) that I called in on Nov, 23, 2016 at 4:05 pm. Then there is Thanksgiving (pharmacy was closed), then that the Lab is backed up and then that they are closed on Sundays and Lab is closed on the weekend." HOW WORSE it could get. I called in today, Monday, Nov 28, 2016 and the medicine is not ready yet. However, I was promised it will be ready today. When I said I will be there to pick it up after work at 5:30 pm, I was told "We will call you if it's ready." FIVE days later my son needs his compounded medication and FIVE days later is not ready. DO NOT TELL your customers that the pharmacy needs 24-48 hours for medication to be ready for pick up. It is 120 hours and you still don't have it ready!!! I hope any patient with life threatening situation will choose the pharmacy wisely!! Rate for South River Pharmacy is MINUS 5.
