Our experience at this place was atrocious! I took my daughter Molly for a haircut. Molly has cerebral palsy, she uses a wheelchair and a computer to communicate. She is getting ready to graduate high school, prom is a couple of weeks away and she wanted a cute, edgy, short cut and a fun day at the salon with her mum. That is not what she got. The owner, Kathleen, had no idea what she was doing. Prior to washing her hair she had an apprentice hold my daughters hair up while she chopped away randomly. Kathleen did not wash my daughters hair she asked an apprentice do it. Molly's hair was not washed properly and no conditioner was applied. When Kathleen had finished with Molly, I put my hand over my mouth and said we can not leave with her hair like that. Molly's hair looked nothing like the image presented to the stylist prior to her chopping away. It was awful. My daughter couldn't wait to leave. We went to pay and nearly fell through the floor when they said the bill was $100!!!! When we questioned the price, Ksthleen said "well that was a lot of work" and "she wouldn't stay still" and her hair was long" and her hair was thick" so it took longer and she hadn't planned for that. Prior to the cut Molly's hair was just below the shoulders, in between shoulder blades. That is what she charged us for a bad haircut, bad wash, rude behavior and when we refused to pay that ridiculous amount, they called the police!! I feel sick to my stomach after seeing my daughter exploited and discrimated against. When we made the appointment I was told Kathleen was a senior stylist, posted on website price? $38.00. We felt discriminated against because of Molly's disability. It was horrible to see my daughter exploited in this way. Shame on you Kathleen!

Kathleen, the owner of this salon, completely botched a standard wash and cut on a client with cerebral palsy. The client's hair wasn't conditioned after the wash and was not cut anywhere near the style requested. When confronted, Kathleen blamed the issues on the client's disability instead of owning her mistakes. She then charged the client DOUBLE the posted cost of a wash and cut because, "it was so much work, her hair was so thick, and she wouldn't keep still". When the client refused to pay double for a haircut gone wrong and said she would pay the posted price, Kathleen called the police. Very disappointed with how the owner of this salon treated a client with disabilities. If you are unable to work with someone's disability, politely explain that to the client and move aside so someone capable can perform the task correctly instead doing what you want to make a few dollars.

They squeezed me in at the last appointment of the day. I was new, the young lady shampooed, cut and dried my hair.absolutely fantastic. Wonderful price, quick service, excellent cut!

I am still in shock at hearing how y'all treated a client with a disability. DOUBLING the price of her haircut because the she wouldn't sit still (mind you she has cerebral palsy), her hair was thick, and it was too much work?!? Completely ridiculous!! I understand charging a little more for thicker hair, but going from $45 to $100???? And let's not forget to mention y'all even had the audacity to call the police when the mom refused to pay that much since it's not what the website advertised and the haircut was botched. I would not recommend!

A friend of ours took her daughter , who suffers from cerebral palsy, for a hair cut. She was overcharged because her daughter "would not stay still, and had thick hair". If someone is not competent enough to realize that a person in a wheelchair , who cannot talk, has special needs, he/she should NOT deal with the public. Very poor service, which will be reported and distributed. I understand that hairdressers have to be licensed.
